From my dad's rose tree.

So I was up trying to figure out whether it was 'shiroi hana no otou-san' or 'otou san no shiroi hana' when my sister comes up to me and reminds me that the Japanese word for 'rose' is actually 'bara'. Oh well.

I'm not much for flowers, but they're easier to draw. Probably because they're easy to look at, which I'm finding out is pretty much the first rule of learning to draw: look at something long enough.
